The Leavesden Community Group defibrillator
If you need to use it
Phone 999 and the emergency services will tell you where your nearest defibrillator is and give you the code to unlock the cabinet.
It is outside and so available at all hours.
This web page is not about medcial advice, speak to a paramedic or doctor.
Once it has been used we will be told and will check it out and ensure that it is in good condition to be used again.

Where is it ?
It is on a wall of Dale Court, Haines Way, WD25 7QX; next to the Costcutter shop.

Grants, Costs & help
We are grateful to Hertfordshire County Council for a grant of £1,195 in 2022. This paid for most of the cost of the machine.
Thanks to Watford Community Housing for letting us install it on the Dale Court wall. They paid for the work to do this and do not charge us for electricity used.
Leavesden Community Group does a monthly health check on the machine and bears the cost of replacement pads. We also replace pads & battery as they have a limited life time.
